- Marijo Carr
- Marijo passed away on September 10, 2023. Born in Crikvenica, he emigrated to Canada in 1938. Marijo was a well-respected commercial fisherman for decades, captaining many vessels. His retirement passions were traveling and golf. He joined the Club in 2000 and became a life member in 2013. He was the Club’s “Most Improved” golfer in 2001; won the Super Senior Age Group Championship in 2014 and the Spring Handicap in 2015.
